We went out to weed after dinner last night and this is what we found in the garden- Crop Damage.
We had some rain come through and some wind but it wasn’t windy enough to do any damage. It was very weird because we have 6 rows of corn and only 4 of out the 6 were touched. Also as you can see some corn was pushed one way and some the other. Don't mind the weeds when your looking at the pics.
To prop the corn back up all we did was push the dirt back up against the stalks to give it something to lean on. I hope it straightens back out.
Has this happened to anyone else?
We've had almost a solid week of rain here. Not too much wind, but the tomatoes are just heavy and drooping. I think you're corn should perk up pretty quick with a bit of sunshine!
ReplyDeleteNo damage here, but what I'm noticing is a lot of our seeds have not even sprouted. We had a ton of rain within a couple days of planting seeds and I'm afraid that had something to do with it. I'm bummed.
